Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect (AWS) in the Northern VA / DC Metro area for a hybrid role with periodic travel to Washington, D.C. You will architect and design cross-team cloud solutions, create roadmaps, and drive POCs for modernization and migration efforts.

The role requires 10+ years in cloud infrastructure and related fields, plus an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in a related field with 15+ years (or commensurate experience).
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification required.
10+ years of experience in ideating, architecting, consulting, designing, developing, leading and delivering cloud infrastructure and cloud application platform technology solutions across large-scale enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

Architect and design cloud solutions across multiple teams to meet business and IT needs.
Develop solution roadmaps and drive POCs/MVPS for cloud migrations.
Define implementation approaches and operational concepts for cloud architectures.
Develop models and guidelines for current and future system development.
Engage with stakeholders to determine needs and align requirements with cost and schedule.
