Job summary

Akkodis is recruiting for an Automotive Technician/Technical Writer for an automotive manufacturer in the Allen Park, MI area. This hybrid contract role offers a pay range of $32 to $36 per hour, with onsite work four days per week and a focus on diagnostic skills.

The role requires electrical, body, and powertrain diagnostics experience, familiarity with spot welding and body measurements, and prior authoring work.

Qualifications

• Electrical diagnostic experience required.
• Body and powertrain diagnostics experience.
• Spot welding and body measurements skills.
• At least 2 years of automotive experience; recent graduates with hands-on vehicle experience may be considered.
• Prior authoring experience preferred; XML experience is a plus.
• Strong grammar, punctuation and general communication skills.
• Foundational computer skills and MS Office proficiency.
