Job summary

Shift Pursuit in Georgia is seeking a skilled Audit & Tax Associate to join our CPA-led advisory team. You will support onboarding, perform risk assessment, and contribute to fieldwork and audit completion, while preparing workpapers and tax returns.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in audit/accounting/tax, solid US GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel and collaboration skills. This role offers a hybrid work environment and a clear path for growth within a multinational, client-focused firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of audit, accounting and/or tax experience.
• Comfortable working across audit, tax and accounting.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and audit procedures.
• Public accounting or external audit experience is a plus.
• CPA or EA is a strong plus; candidates actively pursuing CPA are encouraged to apply.
• Thomson Reuters Engagement, UltraTax and QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Fast learner with strong follow-through and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new audit client onboarding and engagement setup
• Participate in risk assessment, planning, fieldwork and audit completion
• Prepare workpapers and audit documentation using Thomson Reuters Engagement
• Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures
• Collaborate with accounting, advisory, payroll and operations teams
