Whittlesey is seeking an Assurance Supervisor to join our Assurance team in a hybrid work environment. This role oversees multiple audit engagements, budgets, and timelines, coordinating with clients and team members to achieve quality results.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA license or is pursuing CPA certification, with at least 4 years of tax compliance experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA license.
• 150 credit hours for CPA certification or actively pursuing.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in tax compliance.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with auditors, analysts, and client representatives to align on engagement objectives.
• Review and ensure accuracy of audit documentation for junior and senior associates.
• Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and monitor deadlines.
• Coordinate engagement schedules and assign team members accordingly.
• Lead engagement planning, budgeting, and risk assessment with client management.
• Delegate tasks based on budgets and communicate expectations for client satisfaction.
• Monitor progress, prepare budgets, and ensure quality control throughout audit processes.
• Provide technical expertise to the team and stay updated on industry standards.
