Job summary

CohnReznick in Los Angeles is seeking an Assurance Experienced Associate to join our team, contributing to client engagements and applying strong accounting knowledge. This role emphasizes collaboration, timely communication, and rigorous work product.

The successful candidate should have 1+ year in public accounting, a Bachelor's degree, and CPA licensure eligibility. The position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration roughly three days weekly.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Good judgement in assessing opportunities to work independently and when to request team participation.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for assigned work areas that are a component of pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work papers.
• Actively participate in achieving budget goals and meeting work product deadlines.
• Actively work within a team setting of other staff associates and various levels of management.
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective team participation and client service.
