Job summary

KIPP Northern California Public Schools is seeking an Associate Director of Human Resources, Employee Relations to lead complex employee relations matters across regional schools. This hybrid role reports to the Director of HR, Employee Relations and manages investigations, policy adherence, and manager coaching.

The position oversees a defined set of department results, collaborates with school and regional leaders, and ensures compliant, equitable processes across 1,100+ staff.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in HR, Employee Relations, workplace investigations, or a closely related function.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Owns assigned Employee Relations Key Results and designs implementation plans.
• Drives cross-functional Employee Relations initiatives with stakeholders, resources, and timelines.
• Oversees Employee Relations data and reporting systems to identify risks and opportunities.
• Designs and facilitates conflict resolution approaches, including mediations and restorative conversations.
• Coaches school leaders and managers through employee relations matters and performance processes.
