Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited university required.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memoranda, motions and orders.
• Represent the Clerk’s Office at hearings in state and federal court as needed.
• Manage public records issues and confidential documents with discretion.
• Provide legal guidance to departments on various matters.
• Maintain awareness of local, state, and federal issues affecting the office.
