Job summary

QVC Group is seeking an Associate Buyer (Buyer I) to join our Merchandising team in multiple categories. You will own part of the Buying Office’s business, drive long- and short-term planning, and translate trends into products for multi-platform retail.

You’ll educate vendors and partner with cross-functional teams to execute sales goals. The role is hybrid, onsite in West Chester, PA several days per month, with relocation not available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corporate merchandise buying experience.
• Mentor skills and ability to invest in others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the on-air assortment for assigned merchandise categories and develop on-air strategies.
• Develop and purchase items that meet customer expectations and analyze sales trends.
• Evaluate vendor performance and category productivity.
• Maintain product elevation and quality in selections.
• Handle daily office operations and train interns/assistant buyers.
• Establish cross-functional relationships to optimize product lifecycle.
• Present vendor information orally and in writing.
