The Assistive Technologist position with the State of North Carolina - Health & Human Services is based in Sanford, NC, supporting individuals with disabilities by providing assistive technology services, device demonstrations, and training.

The role includes managing an equipment loan program and collaborating with NCATP and EIPD staff statewide to ensure accessibility and independence across central NC counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field and two years of experience with assistive technology.
• Experience with assistive technology for independence and inclusion.
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Device demonstrations and demonstrations of assistive technology.
• Assistive technology assessments.
• Provide technical assistance across settings and users.
• AT center management and coordination.
• Deliver trainings and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Outreach and marketing to promote services and resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
