Job summary

Raymond James is seeking an Asset Management Trading Associate to join the AMS Freedom Trading team. You will review model portfolio overlays on MF/ETF platforms and execute trades under supervision, applying established guidelines and resolving account issues.

The role supports a hybrid work model with in-office presence at the Saint Petersburg, FL corporate office, collaborating with multiple departments to ensure accurate trade execution and reporting.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of managed account practices.
• Understanding of banking, securities trading, and operations.
• Knowledge of products including equities, ETFs, mutual funds.
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
• Mathematical ability to calculate transactions accurately.
• Intermediate Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Overlay accounts to pre-defined MF/ETF trading models and execute trades per product guidelines.
• Analyze individual account data to identify outliers of current model positions and resolve discrepancies.
• Research and resolve complex account errors, providing necessary trade corrections.
• Administer team workflow, ensuring timely processing of trade requests.
• Perform tax loss harvesting.
• Generate and review a variety of reports.
• Field questions and resolve issues from internal departments and branches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
