Job summary

University of Minnesota’s CUHCC ARMHS team seeks a compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to provide recovery-oriented services to adults with serious mental illness, in homes, community settings, and CUHCC. You will deliver individual and group supports, with supervision and ongoing professional development.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (2 days on-site, 3 remote/community), competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement within a university-affiliated clinic.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in psychology, social work, counseling or related field plus at least two years of relevant experience, or six years total education/experience.
• Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness or similar populations.
• Social Work licensure if degree is Social Work; otherwise licensure not required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessment/Rehabilitation duties including recovery-oriented services and skill development for adults with SMI.
• Administration/Documentation: timely ARMHS documentation and ensuring medical necessity and compliance.
• Care Coordination/Other: collaborate with partners, participate in supervision and training.
