Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Architect for our Carolinas group, reporting to the Charleston, SC team, to support advanced manufacturing and federal project types. This role provides architectural guidance, design development, and production support across project delivery methods in a hybrid work environment on the East Coast.

Responsibilities include leading design through construction documents, coordinating with other disciplines, and performing QA/QC.

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of design solution development, building systems, codes, and life safety requirements.
• US citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop design and construction documents for assigned projects.
• Provide architectural guidance, calculations, analyses, and recommendations.
• May manage groups of architects, designers, and specialists.
• Design and production work including detailing through construction documents with Revit/AutoCAD.
• Perform construction administration activities and respond to RFIs.
