Job summary

Dudek is seeking a full-time Aquatic Resources Project Manager to join our biological resources team in Northern California. This role focuses on aquatic resource management, water quality, invasive species, environmental compliance, and permitting, balancing office delivery with field or facility visits.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental science, or related field.
• 8+ years of environmental consulting, water quality, or related experience.
• Experience preparing or managing regulatory documents and reports.
• Experience coordinating projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.
• California environmental regulation knowledge and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and quality-control regulatory documents and permit applications.
• Coordinate document review and submittals with clients and agencies.
• Support environmental documentation and permitting efforts under state and federal requirements.
• Maintain organized project records and ensure deliverables meet comments.
• Manage projects from authorization through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and outside laboratories.
• Lead internal meetings and provide progress reporting.
• Support invoice review and contract compliance.
