Job summary

Momento USA is seeking an AI Lab Tech Engineer in Fremont, CA to own the execution layer for RL environments, including sandboxing, snapshot/restore, and long-horizon runs. You will optimize throughput, latency, and cost while enabling reliable multi-tool worlds for hours or days.

You will work with research, data teams and enterprise customers to turn environment designs into scalable infrastructure, with on-prem hardware deployment and hybrid onsite work 2 days/week in Fremont.

Qualifications

• Experience building production systems at scale with robust reliability.
• Strong grounding in systems fundamentals and testing.
• Familiarity with sandboxing, containers, and isolation mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution/sandboxing layer for RL environments with snapshot/restore.
• Improve performance, scalability, and cost per rollout at scale.
• Build and maintain framework for packaging and deploying RL environments.
• Collaborate with research and customers to productionize platforms.
