Job summary

McKesson is seeking an AI Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions across the full stack—from front-end interfaces to back-end AI model integration.

You will build scalable applications that integrate LLMs and other AI tools, design data pipelines, create prompts, and optimize costs. Hybrid work options in Columbus, OH and Atlanta, GA are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years in AI-enhanced applications using LLMs, voice, image, or speech models.
• BS in Computer Science or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI evaluation, RAG, and LLM cost optimization.
• Experience with Python and AI libraries (OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with Node.js web apps (Express.js) and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficient with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver AI-driven enterprise-quality software applications.
• Build scalable applications integrating LLMs and other AI tools into new and legacy codebases.
• Design and optimize data pipelines and datasets for AI system development and testing.
• Communicate modern AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Iteratively craft prompts to maximize LLM performance and implement prompt caching.
• Maintain prompt libraries & benchmark performance.
• Fine-tune & serve GPT-family, Llama models and AI agents.
• Prototype co-pilot experiences & autonomous workflows.
