Job summary

Axinn seeks an Enterprise AI & Data Infrastructure Engineer in New York to design, integrate, and operationalize enterprise AI and data capabilities. The role blends hands-on work with requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration with the Innovation team, lawyers, and business units.

Qualifications include 5+ years in enterprise tech or AI engineering, API experience, and strong communication. Hybrid work with office presence required 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise tech, AI, or data engineering roles with integration focus.
• Experience implementing or integrating enterprise apps, cloud services, or data platforms.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of enterprise AI, data, integration, and automation initiatives from discovery to production.
• Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and translate needs into technical designs.
• Design integrations among enterprise apps, AI platforms, data sources, and workflow tools via APIs and automation.
• Build prototypes and lightweight apps where hands-on work is most effective.
• Support security, data access, logging, monitoring, and operations for AI solutions.
• Help design an enterprise data lake/lakehouse and governance processes.
• Evaluate vendors, APIs, deployment models, and total cost of ownership.
• Lead pilots, proofs of concept, and buy-versus-build decisions.
