Job description

Talascend is currently seeking a hybrid Agile Transformation Program Manager for a W-2 contract position in Mountain View, California.

HYBRID SCHEDULED:
3-4 days on-site. 1-2 days remote.

OVERVIEW:
The main function of this Agile Transformation Program Manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong background in program management with expertise in Agile methodologies to lead and deliver complex projects across global teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving large-scale software projects and building long-term scalable solutions while adopting Agile principles to optimize the development process and enhance collaboration within cross-functional teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. This role requires strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Privacy, Security and Senior leadership to execute, track and deliver high impact strategic programs in the Ads space.
2. Build, grow and maintain a sustainable scaled Agile delivery model.
3. Work with the team to collaborate and develop end-to-end program plans, influence teams to deliver against them, and keep the org and leadership informed on progress.
4. Drive engagement with internal partners, work to decompose requirements into plans with measurable milestones.
5. Establish and maintain Agile ways of working governance model.
6. Coach leaders, teams and scrum masters in Agile practices and mindsets like program incremental planning, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
7. Groom the team on iterative and program incremental approach to delivering software projects that focus on continuous releases incorporating customer feedback.
8. Produce program reports for stakeholders, identify and mitigate program risks early.
9. Conduct scrum of scrums and steering committee meetings to bring alignment.
10. Provide uniform stakeholder experience through consistent communication, program status transparency, resource requirements, priorities, risks, and issues.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
2. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
3. 10+ years in project/program management role managing software development with a minimum of 4 years of experience mentoring/coaching Agile practitioners.
4. Strong understanding of SDLC and expertise in Agile concepts including Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework.
5. Experience in facilitating organizational, mindset and cultural change for large scale Agile Transformations.
6. Direct experience working with technology and tools used to support Agile practices - hands on experience with JIRA, GitHub and Confluence.
7. Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, managing software from ideation to release with global cross functional teams.
8. Engaging facilitator and presenter, capable of conducting workshops with large teams.
9. Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.
10. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, attention to detail with an ability to multitask.
11. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience in the digital advertising, Mobile, and/or Smart TV space a plus.
2. Demonstrated experience in shipping consumer and/or enterprise solutions.
3. PMP and SAFe certification a plus.
4. Experience in managing AdTech related programs is a plus.
5. Agile related certifications are a plus.
