Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Advanced Project Manager to oversee project management processes for moderate to high-complexity programs. The role leads 5–20 team members and reports to the Operations Manager, Hardware Development PMO, with a hybrid schedule in Columbia, SC or Cranberry Township, PA.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, PMI/PMBOK knowledge, and PMP certification or commitment to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years leading low-to-moderate complexity projects in a regulated industry.
• Understanding of PMI/PMBOK and PMP certification or intent to obtain.
• Experience with project scheduling, cost, resources and risk management tools.
• Ability to lead remote teams across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Plan scope, cost and schedule baselines per WPMR requirements.
• Lead medium-sized teams (5–20) including controls and sub-project managers.
• Manage execution to meet quality, schedule and financial goals.
• Prepare charters, execution plans, and project databases for communications.
• Close projects by archiving records and capturing lessons learned.
