Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Validation & Verification Engineer. You will develop and verify customer-facing ADAS features (e.g., Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping, Lane Centering) and collaborate with research, design, hardware, and software teams to ensure performance and safety.

You will apply model-based design, Matlab/Simulink, and real-world validation to deliver robust feature performance across vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience developing/testing features using radar, camera, lidar, or other vehicle sensors.
• Familiarity with actuators and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design validation methods for ADAS HMD features across component, system, and vehicle levels.
• Lead verification plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and sign off feature performance.
• Develop MATLAB and CAN tools for data collection and analysis.
• Plan real-world evaluations via vehicle, HIL, and virtual testing.
