Arch Insurance Group, Inc. in Jersey City, NJ seeks an Actuarial Analyst to own profitability analytics, segmentation studies, and pricing for large accounts. The role partners with underwriting to shape pricing and strategy, leveraging industry benchmarking and advanced tools.

Formación

• 1 year programming experience with Python and SQL.
• 1 year experience with tools to structure, access, and manage data sets including PowerBI, Excel, VBA and SQL.
• Experience with profitability reviews, LDF and trend studies, rate filings and related actuarial concepts.
• Passed at least 5 actuarial exams including 2 CAS exams.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of profitability reviews and segmentation studies, presenting results to underwriting.
• Evaluate underwriting actions and monitor impact; serve as SME for product.
• Partner with underwriters on pricing and deal structure for large accounts.
• Conduct actuarial benchmarking using industry metrics and research.
• Measure and report on rate change, price adequacy and mix changes.
• Drive tool development for pricing and book monitoring, including dashboards and data products.
• Lead development of new products, rating approaches and filing strategies; mentor new actuaries.
