Job summary

US Foods in Hyannis, MA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our fleet. You will safely navigate highways and city streets, unload 100% touch freight, verify deliveries with customers, and maintain professional customer service at all times.

Starting pay is $35.76 per hour, rising to $40.24 after 6 months, with weekly pay. Schedule is Monday–Saturday with one day off, 2am–5am dispatch, and benefits begin Day One. Valid CDL-A and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
• Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation.

• Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas.

• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.
