Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Hy-Chi Department Manager in Minnesota. You will lead the Hy-Chi team, maintain exceptional customer service, and ensure department profitability through staffing, training, and operations oversight.

You will analyze sales trends, plan promotions, manage inventory and pricing, and maintain quality and freshness of products while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over one year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrated customer service and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, and department profitability.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop department staff.
• Plan schedules, displays, and pre-orders to drive sales and engagement.
• Analyze weekly/monthly sales trends and prepare ad projections.

You'll work in the Hy-Chi department and can expect frequent exposure to temperature extremes and dampness, as well as possible equipment movement hazards, electrical equipment, and cleaning chemicals and solvents.
