Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Systems Integrator for its Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) team onsite. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance with interim clearance ability.

You will perform cross‑discipline integration, testing, and troubleshooting across HWIL facilities for developmental programs. Candidates should have a STEM degree with five+ years of hardware/software/firmware integration, experience with RF, test equipment, and both Windows and Linux systems, plus

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience.
  • Integration experience with hardware, software, and/or firmware, including electrical design and reading schematic diagrams.
  • Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and teamwork skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience generating technical documentation and reports.
  • Experience with RF theory and application in systems.
  • Knowledge of networking and IP‑addressed based equipment.
  • Ability to work and interface with a cross‑discipline team.
  • Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, and electronics maintenance.
  • Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl; and MATLAB scripts for data analysis.

Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Senior Systems Integrator – Tucson, AZ

Join RTX’s Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ as a Senior Systems Integrator. The role is onsite and requires U.S. citizenship, an active DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain interim clearance before the start date.

Security Clearance Requirements

U.S. citizenship is required. An active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret clearance must be obtained prior to starting the position. The candidate must also have the ability to obtain an interim clearance before the start date.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 per year.
