Job description

Are you a certified HVAC/R Technician looking to grow your career, not just land another job? The Arcticom Group Refrigeration (TAGR) is seeking skilled Journey-Level Refrigeration Technicians for light commercial service work in and around Boulder, CO area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain, diagnose, and repair multiple types of refrigeration systems, and all mechanical and electrical components related to the equipment (such as self-contained coolers and freezers, single systems and rack systems, etc.)
2. Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers.
3. Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems and identify specifications that are required.
4. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration.
5. Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors.
6. Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary.
7. Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work van.

SKILLS:

1. Good judgement for use of supplies and materials in refrigeration repairs.
2. Hand/Tools such as gauges and basic hand tools.
3. Attention to detail and critical analysis for diagnostics and work performed.
4. Professional communication skills.
5. Mechanical aptitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 2+ years prior HVAC/R experience.
2. Be available for ON CALL work as needed.
3. Ability to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driving abstract as needed.

BONUS POINTS:

1. EPA license highly desired.
2. At least 2-3 years of grocery refrigeration/HVAC experience highly desired.
3. Related education/certification in HVAC and refrigeration industry highly desired.
