Job summary

McDonald's Restaurants Limited is seeking a skilled HVACR technician to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning systems across our Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut locations.

The role requires 3–5 years of field experience, a valid S or D license, and the ability to read technical manuals and blueprints. You will work with a team to ensure reliable restaurant environments, safety compliance, and responsive service.

  • S or D License is required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
  • Install and connect electrical components and wiring for HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete installation and repair projects.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues

  • Install and connect electrical components and wiring for HVAC systems

  • Collaborate with other team members to complete installation and repair projects

  • Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems

Skills
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

  • Experience in appliance repair or HVAC/R field is preferred

  • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints

  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs

  • Effective communication skills to interact with managers, supervisors, and team members

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour/ Or Salaried Options.
