Job summary

Weber Refrigeration and Heating is seeking an experienced Residential/Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems across both residential and commercial environments. The role requires three years of HVAC service experience, EPA certification is a plus, and a valid driver's license.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergency calls, document work, and ensure safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of residential/commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification a plus, HVAC Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with ability to pass MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, AC, heat pumps, RTUs, and mini-splits
• Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups to ensure efficiency
• Install, replace, and adjust HVAC components such as motors, compressors, coils, belts, thermostats, and controls
• Document service work, parts used, labor hours, and system conditions in service software or on work orders
• Handle emergency service calls and participate in on-call rotation as needed
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and facility managers about solutions and upgrades
• Collaborate with dispatch and service managers to ensure scheduling and customer satisfaction
• Ensure work meets local codes and manufacturer standards
