Job summary

AllStar Heating & Cooling Corp. in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a hardworking HVAC/PTAC Maintenance Technician to join our team.

You would install new PTAC units or replacement parts for existing units and perform maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, and PTAC units. The role requires troubleshooting, routine maintenance, record-keeping, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently while keeping safety in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units.
• Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Excellent work ethic, communication, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and PTAC units to ensure efficient operation and repairs as needed.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a hardworking HVAC/PTAC Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this position you would install new PTAC units or replacement parts for existing units. Performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, and PTAC units.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC and PTAC units and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs.
• Installation and replacement of PTAC units.
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1-3 years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units
