Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand for 2–3 hours.
• Ability to reach over shoulders/head and bend at waist/knees.
• Familiar with welding tools and basic shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld HVAC unit assemblies and related equipment.
• Perform welding on carbon/steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using MIG and TIG as specified.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to guide layout and fit-up.
• Ensure weld quality meets drawings, specs, and standards and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE policies and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the Lead Welder or Supervisor to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
