Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to perform routine welding on HVAC units in a manufacturing setting. The role requires operating an arc welder and oxy-fuel torch, with proficiency in grinding, beveling, and fitting metal parts while removing slag.

You will regulate welding current and time and ensure a clean, safe work area. Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of welding/manufacturing experience; Lean Manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, welding, or related experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine welding work on HVAC units.
• Utilize an arc welder and electrode rods for tack and bead welds; use an oxygen/acetylene torch for metal cutting.
• Operate hand and power tools for grinding, beveling, fitting metals, and removing slag.
• Set and regulate welding current and time as required.
• Maintain a safe and productive work area in the weld area.
