Job summary

Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating & Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Warranty Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and service residential HVAC systems. The role reports to the HVAC Service Manager and collaborates with the Dispatch Department to close warranty issues promptly.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, HVAC training, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of a relevant HVAC training program or apprenticeship.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights; physical stamina and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and report installation and service issues both at-fault and no-fault.
• Coordinates with Dispatch to complete warranty issues beyond client satisfaction.
• Diagnoses malfunctions of heating and air conditioning systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs.
• Repairs heating and air conditioning systems and related equipment for resident comfort.
• Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment for safe operating condition.
• Orders repair parts and supplies to be completed same day or overnighted for next day/ client time.
• Prepares documentation for warranty parts, service records, requisitions and work performed.
• Reviews warranty calls daily to improve department quality and prevent future calls.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or Dispatch Department.
