Job summary

Hunton Distribution, a division of Hunton Group, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. You will coordinate warehouse activities, manage receipts, stocking, shipping, and fulfil customer orders, while supporting on-site operations.

The role requires forklift experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will also enter inventory into the system and assist with audits and invoices as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years of proven forklift experience.
• 1+ years of experience driving a 20' box truck with liftgate.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies for HVAC.
• Stock the parts store with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
• Assist with inventory control and entering inventory into the software system.
• Deliver parts, supplies, equipment, and other HVAC-related products to customer locations or job sites.
• File M/S's, freight bills of lading, and equipment packing slips for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
• File freight claims for damaged goods.
• Manage receipt, inspection, and stocking products.
• Determine inventory levels; identify and dispose of excess and obsolete inventory and maintain system inventory accuracy.
• Other duties may be assigned.
