Job summary

Coil-Specialist,-Inc. in Texas seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee a manufacturing team, assign work, manage schedules, and enforce procedures.

You will monitor production performance, track downtime, and coach employees on quality, safety, and efficiency, while preserving a clean, safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in manufacturing, can operate machinery and a forklift, and can work long shifts including weekends as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: This position supervises employees in a manufacturing environment. The production supervisor plans and assigns work to employees according to company guidelines. Implements policies and procedures. Recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions. Responsible for day-to-day management of Production. Keeps record of employees' schedules, attendance, and performance. Physical Demands: • Must be able to stand for long periods, with frequent lifting, pulling, pushing. • Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds without aid. • Must be able to work 10 hour days. • Must be able to tolerate all weather conditions, as work is in a non-climate controlled building. Work Environment: In an open-air warehouse, regardless of the weather. Subjected to noises common with the use of machinery.
