KBI Biopharma, Inc. in Durham, North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for 24/7 operation and maintenance of site systems. This role includes troubleshooting, repairs, and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on skills in mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. A high-school diploma is required along with preferred certifications like Universal CFC license.

General responsibility for the installation, 24/7, day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and modification of all KBI Biopharma site systems. This position includes repairs, troubleshooting, and both corrective (repair/unplanned modification) and preventative (planned) maintenance of associated systems and equipment. The technician works both independently and as part of a team, exercising considerable independent judgment and initiative to solve challenging or complex issues. The role requires the ability to react productively to change and to perform other essential tasks as assigned. Shift: Night (10pm–8am, Sunday–Wednesday).
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance of architectural, structural/civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process equipment, and utility equipment, following approved procedures where applicable.
