Job summary

Rocket Cooling seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to handle residential service, maintenance, and installations across Stuart, Port St. Lucie and surrounding communities in Florida.

You will diagnose complex systems, perform preventive maintenance, and install new equipment while delivering top-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Training, modern tools, and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and confidently handle a variety of HVAC jobs.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, refrigerant circuits, and system installations.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Trade school education or additional HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Experience using ServiceTitan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and tune-ups.
• Install and replace residential air conditioning systems and associated components.
• Troubleshoot low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Install and repair refrigerant piping, including brazing and proper refrigeration practices.
• Perform ductwork modifications, repairs, and installations as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, comfort, efficiency, and reliability.
• Educate customers on their HVAC systems and provide honest, practical recommendations.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate effectively with customers and the office.
• Keep your assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to assist customers with urgent HVAC needs.
