Job summary

Bayfront Health in St. Pete, Florida is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of HVAC, refrigeration and related control systems throughout the facility.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; 3 years HVAC experience in health care or similar settings; EPA Universal Certification; and Florida driver’s license with clean record. Diploma or Journeyman license may substitute with experience.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Three (3) years’ HVAC experience in commercial, industrial or health care organizations is required.
HVAC technical diploma/certificate or Orange County HVAC Journeyman License.
Four (4) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the diploma/certificate or license (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
EPA Universal Certification.
Valid Florida driver’s license with no more than six (6) points, at least 21 years of age, and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

Performs diversified installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair duties involving heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration and related control systems throughout the facility.
