Job summary

Central Heat and Air in Cleveland, TN is seeking an HVAC Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, ensuring safety and efficiency while delivering exceptional customer service. You will also assist with replacements and light installations as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal 608 Certification required.
• Experience in HVAC service/troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and system tune-ups.
• Communicate technical issues and recommended solutions to customers.
• Complete work using protective measures to keep customer homes clean and undamaged.
• Perform system retrofits, component replacements, and assist with full unit installations when necessary.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specs and local building codes.
• Execute low-voltage wiring, duct adjustments, and line set connections during changes.
