Job summary

Newmark Group seeks an HVAC technician to work from blueprints, install, test, troubleshoot and maintain HVAC fixtures, motors, and controls. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and repairing components. A current driver’s license and trade license are required.

The role requires 1–3 years of HVAC repair/maintenance experience and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of HVAC repair/maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, codes.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Must have a current license for the appropriate trade.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC fixtures and equipment.
• Monitor systems and perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Interpret blueprints and evaluate code compliance for electrical/HVAC work.
• Inspect, repair or replace valves, motors, controls, wiring, and related components.
• Order parts and manage inventories; locate and fix defects.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in all tasks.
