Job summary

Steadfast Staffing Solutions seeks a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings in Washington. You will diagnose issues, read schematics, and apply welding where needed while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work with clients to determine needs, perform field visits, and keep detailed records of work and parts used. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and plumbing.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams related to HVAC design.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues by interpreting schematics and using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Refrigeration) systems to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with clients to assess needs and provide tailored HVAC/refrigeration solutions.
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose problems and perform repairs for customer satisfaction.
• Utilize welding techniques as necessary for equipment repair or installation.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.
• Assist in designing HVAC systems to meet specific requirements and industry standards.
• Provide support in plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations or repairs.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements.
