Job summary

G1 Facility Services at Newark Liberty International Airport is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in a commercial facility setting, following company standards and manufacturer specs. This role requires a minimum of five years' experience, HVAC certification preferred, and a valid US driver's license.

Available shifts include 2:00pm–10:30pm and 10:30pm–6:30am, with compensation of $35.00–$45.00 per hour plus benefits such as medical, vision, dental, life

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in commercial/industrial settings.
Valid HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Test systems and adjust for proper operation and efficiency.
Respond promptly and professionally to service calls.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines including handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
Document work performed, including repairs and parts used ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Support and collaborate with other technicians and supervisors.
