Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing and medical gas systems in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Work with piping, fittings, fixtures, boilers, hydronic heating systems, water distribution systems, medical gas systems, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate installation and compliance.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship while meeting project schedules and quality expectations.
- Support company goals related to safety, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, contractors, and fellow team members.
- Maintain a safe work environment and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Skills
- Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License.
- Commercial plumbing experience required.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, methods, and applicable building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and craftsmanship.
Additional Qualifications
- Must have current valid TX Journeyman's license
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds; pushing, pulling, carrying, or maneuvering heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment; carrying ladders; working at heights; and working in confined or crawl spaces.
- Commitment to following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain accurate time records and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Professional appearance and demeanor when representing the company.
- Ability to satisfy pre-employment requirements and maintain eligibility to work in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
