Job summary

Lochridge-Priest, Inc. is looking for a skilled plumber to install and repair commercial plumbing and medical gas systems in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate must possess a current Texas Journeyman Plumber License and have the ability to read blueprints and specifications.

The role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications and maintaining high workmanship standards. Additional qualifications include strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a commitment to customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing and medical gas systems in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Work with piping, fittings, fixtures, boilers, hydronic heating systems, water distribution systems, medical gas systems, and drainage systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate installation and compliance.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship while meeting project schedules and quality expectations.
• Support company goals related to safety, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, contractors, and fellow team members.
• Maintain a safe work environment and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Skills

• Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License.
• Commercial plumbing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, methods, and applicable building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and craftsmanship.

Additional Qualifications

• Must have current valid TX Journeyman's license
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds; pushing, pulling, carrying, or maneuvering heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment; carrying ladders; working at heights; and working in confined or crawl spaces.
• Commitment to following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate time records and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Professional appearance and demeanor when representing the company.
