Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems. You will guide customers to select the most appropriate air quality solution and handle installation through end-of-life service.

To succeed, you must prioritize customer satisfaction, safety and comfort, with strong troubleshooting and organizational skills. Several positions are available and training is provided. This role offers hands-on field work and on-site visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of HVAC technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration.
• Ability to read schematics and follow work plans.
• Willingness to work after hours and on weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Perform warranty services and emergency repairs.
• Provide on-the-job training and keep daily maintenance logs.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.
• Assist customers with queries.
