American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician in Austin, TX. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners, while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to safety and code standards.

The role offers year‑round, full‑time work with earning potential between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, plus benefits and company vehicle.

Responsibilities:

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units

• Perform HVAC repairs, service calls, and preventative maintenance

• Identify system issues and recommend appropriate heating and air conditioning solutions

• Ensure all HVAC service work meets company standards and local code requirements

• Communicate clearly with homeowners about system performance and recommended repairs

• Deliver professional customer service while completing HVAC service and repair work

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced HVAC technician with a solid background in residential service, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related comfort systems
• EPA certification universal & TDLR preferred
• Clean driving record and dependable transportation
• Able to navigate attics, crawlspaces, and other challenging work areas safely
• Capable of handling the physical demands of the trade, including lifting and carrying HVAC materials and equipment
