Racine Unified School District in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and evaluate heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and related equipment across district facilities.
Responsibilities include servicing unit ventilators, air handlers, furnaces, steam traps, boilers, and related systems; calibrating climate control setups; and supporting boiler operations and district buildings maintenance as directed.
Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and evaluate heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related equipment such as unit ventilators, air handlers, furnaces, steam traps, and exhaust equipment. Install and rebuild compressors, various pumps. Install, repair, calibrate and set up pneumatic and electronic climate control systems. Troubleshoot and repair all phases of boiler operations, including controls, gas and safety valves, brickwork, piping, and combustion analysis. Assume other duties as directed by HVAC Foreman or Maintenance Director. Operate and maintain District Buildings.
