Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an HVAC Technician for an industrial paint specialist. This is a temporary-to-hire contractor position with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour, and a Monday–Friday 8:00am-4:30pm schedule.

Responsibilities include inspecting HVAC/R systems, preventive maintenance, changing rooftop filters, responding to service calls, documenting work, and ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance.

Qualifications

• EPA certification - Licensed to work on industrial HVAC systems.
• Experience with HVAC systems in an industrial plant.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Work in extreme temperatures and confined spaces; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC/R systems, controls and components, including freon levels.
• Maintain air-conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigerated cooling systems.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
• Change rooftop filters per schedule.
• Respond to service calls for repairs promptly.
• Document all work conducted accurately.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and EPA environmental regulations.

HVAC TECHNICIAN

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several HVAC Technician for an industrial paint specialist in Chattanooga, TN. This is a company specializing in all aspects paint and janitorial manufacturing. This is an outstanding temporary to hire contractor position.

Pay Rates:

$25.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC/R systems, controls and components, computerized electrical circuits and systems including freon levels
• Maintain air-conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigerated cooling, commercial mechanical and electrical systems
• Conduct all monthly preventative maintenance throughout facility
• Change rooftop filters per facilities schedules
• Respond to service calls for repairs in a timely manner
• Properly document all work conducted
• Adhere to safety standards (OSHA) and environmental regulations (EPA)

HVAC Technician Qualifications and Requirements

• EPA certification-Licensed to work on industrial HVAC systems
• Must have experience working with HVAC systems in an industrial plant to be considered for this position.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of HVAC/R equipment and troubleshooting techniques, environmental regulations for refrigerants for City, State and EPA regulations.
• Work in extreme temps, confined spaces, and lift heavy equipment. (in office assessment will be conducted for 50lbs)
• Drug screen and background check required
