American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our national team. In this role you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and evaluate residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units, delivering high-quality service to homeowners.

Qualifications

• Experienced HVAC technician with a solid background in residential service, maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related comfort systems.
• EPA certification universal & TDLR preferred.
• Clean driving record and dependable transportation.
• Ability to access attics, crawl spaces, and other tight/work areas safely.
• Physical ability to lift and carry HVAC materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and AC units.
• Perform HVAC repairs, service calls, and preventative maintenance.
• Identify system issues and recommend heating and cooling solutions.
• Ensure all HVAC service work meets company standards and local code requirements.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about system performance and repairs.
• Deliver professional customer service while completing HVAC service and repair work.

  • Able to navigate attics, crawlspaces, and other challenging work areas safely
  • Capable of handling the physical demands of the trade, including lifting and carrying HVAC materials and equipment
