Job summary

AZ Corporation in Haverhill, MA is seeking an HVAC Technician to participate in the installation, maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems for multiple sites. The role requires attention to safety, quality, and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, 5 years of field experience, and MA Refrigeration License with EPA Universal Certification. VRF experience, OSHA 10, and applicable licenses are preferred for this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant field experience.
• 5 years of field experience, trade school or apprenticeship.
• Massachusetts Refrigeration License, EPA Universal Certification, VRF experience – review, layout and install.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Appropriate State/Federal certifications/licenses.
• Advanced knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Development of daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites.
• Execute HVAC preventative maintenance procedures, daily checks, inspections.
• Review specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design, drawings, and blueprints.
• Obtain supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogs.
• Analyze problems and identify corrective measures.
• Extensive troubleshooting of all site-wide HVAC and related systems.
• Additional duties as directed by job site foreman, project manager, and supervisor.

Position Summary

The HVAC Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems and associated processes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
• Execute HVAC preventative maintenance procedures, daily checks, inspections
• Review specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design, drawings, and blueprints
• Obtain supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogs
• Analyze problems and identify corrective measures
• Extensive troubleshooting of all site-wide HVAC and associated Process Equipment, Plant Utility & Facility Refrigeration Systems, Air Handlers, Supply Air Systems, Exhaust Systems, Cooling and Heating Coils
• Additional duties as directed by job site foreman, project manager, and supervisor
