Overview

American Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning (APHAC) is looking for a talented and skilled HVAC service and repair technician to join our team. APHAC is based in Oceanside CA and is a small family-owned service and repair company that has been in business in the North San Diego area for over 20 years.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years continuous experience in the trade and who is willing to grow with the company. Must have certain characteristics and skills such as:

• Be dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
• Excellent customer service and have good communication skills
• Discuss various options/solutions with clients when it comes to their HVAC systems, and help them determine which option is best for their situation.
• Follow detailed instructions
• Decent driving record and valid DL
• Special certification to handle certain products
• Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our client\'s home systems
• In-depth knowledge of light commercial and residential systems and the techniques/tools
• Ability to work in confined spaces such as attics and under structures
• Residential and Commercial experience
• Perform emergency repairs as scheduling needs dictate
• Willingness to work some weekends and at odd hours based on scheduling needs
• Comply with all relevant health and safety standards

APHAC will provide a company vehicle, cell phone, uniform, and all equipment to perform jobs (except hand tools). Pay is based on experience and role with the company. We offer medical benefits, vacation pay, holiday pay, sick pay, and bonus pay.
