Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/R equipment.
• EPA universal certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, or boiler systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on commercial and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and repair as needed.
• Service and troubleshoot various HVAC systems including RTU, air handlers, split systems, DX systems, heat pumps.
• Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device.
• Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Maintain safety policy compliance.

We are always searching for new and talented people who share our values and are dedicated to the continued success of this company.As an HVAC Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and / or industrial HVAC equipment.Compensation aspects of the role are dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience.**Principal Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in commercial and industrial settings.* Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as needed.* Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.* Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipment.* Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.* Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems, ranging from 3 tons to 1280 tons.* Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device* Work independently, and as part of a team, to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame.* Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory.* Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.**Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications*** 3 or more years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/R equipment preferred.* EPA universal certification preferred.* Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, or boiler systems, preferred.* OSHA 10 certification preferred.**Additional Requirements*** Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.* Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.* Complies and promotes company Safety Policy* Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.* Excellent communication and customer services skills.* Analytical and problem-solving skills* Professional demeanor and positive, caring attitude.* Must be able to work independently and without supervision.* Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.* Proficiency with electrical and mechanical diagnostics* Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials* Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.* Ability to pass MVR check.* Ability to pass a physical ability test.* Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.**Benefits*** 401K match* Medical* HSA* Dental* Vision* Long-term Disability* PTO* Paid Holidays* Pet Insurance* Employee Assistance Program* Company Discount Program**Disclaimer**The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
