Union County is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install and maintain diverse heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role involves general and preventative maintenance, calibration of controls, and ensuring compliance with standards across projects.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 4 years of HVAC experience, plus a valid driver's license and safe driving history. The work environment is dynamic and may require flexible hours.
High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED), and four (4) years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid Driver's License and maintain a safe driving history as defined by the Union County Vehicle Use Policy.
CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
Must be able to work flexible hours and weekend rotations.
Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires the ability to maintain body equilibrium when bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, reaching and/or stretching arms, legs or other parts of body to grasp, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Physical requirements are for Heavy Work.
