Job summary

Synergy3 in Edison, New Jersey is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs across residential systems. The role is field-based and combines HVAC work with light multi-trade service tasks.

You will diagnose and repair residential units, perform tune-ups, and ensure safety and code compliance while documenting findings for customers. We offer a company vehicle, tools and equipment, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with prior industry

Qualifications

• Experience servicing residential HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with ventilation, combustion, and exhaust systems.
• Ability to perform minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and workmanship quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and service residential HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
• Complete minor plumbing repairs, such as leak fixes.
• Service ventilation systems, including dryer vents.
• Inspect and repair flue components and exhaust pathways.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC systems.
• Complete safety checks in line with company standards and local codes.
• Document work performed and communicate findings with customers.

Position Overview

We're hiring an HVAC Service Technician to handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs across HVAC systems and related home components. This role is field-based and includes a mix of HVAC work and light multi-trade service tasks.

Compensation

$25 per hour, based on experience

Overtime may be available
